Universal Consensus
The planet Earth is populated (it would be more appropriate to say "infested") by about 8 billion human animals (let's not forget that we belong to the class of mammals, the order of primates, and the genus homo). Humans disagree with each other on almost everything, leading to an endless series of conflicts. There is only one issue on which humans universally agree: that it is appropriate and permissible to inflict suffering and death on all other life forms, even for our simple amusement (see hunting, bullfighting, cockfighting). The destruction of other lives seems so evidently permissible that, on this particular matter, humans never disagree, and never wage war against one another.
