The Three Languages of the Bible

Why the God of the Jews and Christians decided to reveal His message to humanity in three different languages—Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek—and why specifically these, among many other possible, we do not know. It also is unknown why He, being omnipotent, could not or would not write in a language understandable to all, a language that would need no translators or interpreters—that would have been a truly grand miracle. But one must assume that God had His reasons for not doing so.

The fact remains that, if we truly want to understand the word of God, we should read it in its original language. God deserves such attention, I think. Let’s get to work!
